Arcania: Gothic 4 returns as the fourth and possibly the final installment of the Gothic series. This time, you take on the role of a nameless hero who just had his village destroyed by the king's paladins. However, as you set off on your quest of vengeance, you gradually realize that this event is driven by a malicious hidden power. The storyline is so much better in this installment due to the many surprises, plot twists and cliffhangers, and it does have a pretty nice combat system.However, many players put some flak to this game mainly because the game isn't exactly "Gothic" but pretending to be by using the "Gothic" name, but partly because the game does have some boring quests. That said, the game is still a pretty decent RPG.
Fable 3
Fable 3 is, unfortunately, the last RPG in the franchise and it goes out with a bang. In this game, you'll not play as a mere random adventurer but instead, you get to become so much more - the leader of a revolution to take control of Albion and defend it from a relentless threat! As a ruler, your every choice will have a more drastic impact on the virtual world you'll be playing in, as well as on your subjects.Fable 3 was previously available on PC via Steam, but somehow, the game was taken offline and now is only available on Xbox, to the dismay of many fans worldwide. However, if you do own an Xbox, you might want to get this game as well, especially if you're a fan of the series.
