MapleStory 2 vs Tibia
MapleStory 2
MapleStory 2 is the highly-anticipated sequel to the popular 2D side-scrolling MMORPG/virtual world game, MapleStory. However, this game is almost unrecognisable as "MapleStory" due to the massive changes (some positive, some.... well, not so much) done to the game. For starters, the game is fully in 3D now and it adopted a voxel-based style which is similar to Portal Knights and Trove. The game is also more customizable than ever, allowing players to not only build their own homes in the game; they can also design outfits and gear for their characters. Of course, you will still be able to change your character's looks, such as changing ther hairstyle and color, as well.Despite all the outer and some internal changes, the game's core remained unchanged - it is still a social virtual world-like MMO game where players can just relax by taking a dip in their outdoor pool if they tire of adventures and monster slaying. They can even drop by a friend's place and just to hang out.
MapleStory 2 is definitely not simply a "copy-paste" version of the original. Instead, the developers have given the game and the franchise new life by adapting the game to the tastes of the current generation of gamers. It is still not available worldwide despite being touted as "globally released", but most countries should be able to access it by now. If your country is covered, you might want to give the game a try!
Tibia
Tibia is a fun old-school MMORPG that rivals that of the old version of Runescape and yet adds its own charm to the mix. The game contains crevices of secret stashes and locations, spread across various differently themed zones, for you to find and explore in addition to the usual MMO stuff like raiding and PvPing. The game is also filled with amazing pixel art and a hardcore gameplay where you can mold your character to play whatever role you like.In this modern day and age, the gaming industry is filled with triple-A-styled MMORPGs with amazing 3D graphics run on powerful game engines and “easy” gameplay. However, Tibia is here to break those rules. So, if you enjoy playing old-school MMOs or if you want to relive the nostalgic “good ol’ times”, Tibia is the game for you. Be sure to drop by and experience the game for yourself now!
