2048 is a pretty unique puzzle game that has literally gone viral last year mainly because of its easy-to-pick-up gameplay and yet it is incredibly difficult - i.e. requires a lot of strategic thinking - in order to be really good at. Unlike other 2048 games out there, you can decide how big your playing grid is in this one. There's even a scoring system which is what most people will share proudly on their social media pages whenever they reached a new high score.

Due to its meteoric rise to popularity, the game has inspired a lot of clones on the mobile platform with some games that drastically made the game concept something uniquely their own with plenty of additional fun features and game rules.

It's just incredible to see how such a simple game can take the world by storm, by 2048 somehow managed to do so. Found: A Hidden Object Adventure is a free-to-play hidden object game (HOG) by Big Fish Games that you can play straight on your browser. The game is multidimensional, much like Mystery Manor or any of the other "hardcore" HOGs, as it offers missions where you banish creatures or barter with the locals for some extra energy in addition to the usual hidden object scenes. The story may be a bit cliche - you crash landed on a mysterious tropical island while travelling via plane - but things quickly took an intriguing turn once pirates, magic and a generous dose of mystery are added into the mix. There are, surprisingly, many interesting characters to meet as well - you would have thought the island would be deserted!
