Realm of the Mad God is a rather addictively fun dungeon crawler that originated as a web game on Kongregate. The game is set in the realm of a mad god called Oryx, who is intent on doing his best to swamp you with monsters and creatures so you'd die... and being a hardcore game, your death is pretty much permanent. Like most dungeon crawlers, there are a crazy load of items you can loot and equip to help your character survive a little while longer. Interestingly, each item you get in the game has its own unique, and sometimes hilarious, lore behind it.The gameplay is incredibly fun as well. The action combat mainly consists of running and gunning, though recklessness and getting yourself overwhelmed is always a lingering possibility.
