F.E.A.R. lets you join the elite First Encounter Assault Recon team, or F.E.A.R. for short, as they are sent into a hostage situation in a multi-billion dollar aerospace compound with only a single goal - eliminate the intruders and rescue the hostages. They were not the first to be sent on the mission though - the special forces which were sent there were massacred as they were literally torn apart by a mysterious force. The mysterious paramilitary force which took the compound in the first place isn't issuing any demands either.

This version of the game also contains two DLCs which continue the story where it ended, giving players a better insight into the whole paranormal phenomena that's going on as well as on Armacham Technology Corporation's (ATC) dark past.

The Shrouded Isle is a very unique simulation game with a dark Lovecraftian-theme, where you assume the role of the High Priest of a cult and do your best to make sure that your fellow cultists stay true to the commandments of the Dark Lord until judgment day. Discover the sinners hidden among the loyal through any means necessary, so you can sacrifice them at the altar to purge your cult of these sinners and appease the ravenous appetite of the Dark Lord.

The Shrouded Isle is not just a one-of-a-kind simulation game that lets you become the cult leader of a dark cult filled with seemingly psychotic people; it is also a game that will definitely make you question your morality, and perhaps after hours of burning books, encouraging self-flagellation, executing heretics and sacrificing sinners, your state of mind... especially if you find yourself enjoying the game.
