Hex: Shards of Fate vs Spellweaver
Hex: Shards of Fate
Hex: Shards of Fate is a challenging MMO trading card game (TCG) where you play a wandering champion in the fictional world of Entrath. The game features a 1-on-1 card battle where you must deplete your opponent’s life to zero in order to win, as well as strategically in-depth deck-building and factions to side with. The gameplay draws inspiration from the popular board-based TCGs, such as Magic The Gathering which had admittedly gotten it into a bit of a tough spot with a lawsuit back in 2015. The game may have a slightly higher skill ceiling, but it's a solid MMOTCG that fans of the genre will enjoy. If you happen to count yourself among them, then Hex: Shards of Fate is a game you'll want to play.Spellweaver
Spellweaver is a free-to-play, MMO tradable card game (TCG) that features a deep card game mechanics that were inspired from popular card games such as Magic: The Gathering. Aside from hundreds of gorgeous collectible cards, the game also features a deep gameplay with elements of quest progression from online RPGs that lets you explore the lore and world of the game. This makes Spellweaver rather fun to play without forcing you to play its ranked multiplayer, though it is not entirely unique in this respect because many other CCGs boast of offering PvE campaigns as well.Newcomers to the game, especially those who have not played any CCGs before let alone Magic the Gathering, may find that the skill ceiling in this game can be a tad bit high. However, for mid-core or veteran players, this game offers them an intriguingly stragetic and challenging gameplay that will make them doubt their loyalty to Hearthstone or any of their current favorite MMOCCG.
