Shadow of the Colossus is an action-adventure game where you play a skilled hunter who, in order to bring a girl back to life, sets off across ancient lands to slay sixteen different Colossi. Each colossus has its own set of abilities, strengths and weaknesses and it if up to you to figure out the best way to slay it based on what meagre arsenal you have - a sword and a bow. Of course, you'll also need to have excellent reflexes and a determination to do whatever it takes to bring down your target colossus.

In some way, Shadow of the Colossus is a monster-hunting game with a unique background story that's set in a beautiful world. Featuring an action-based combat, you'll need to strategize before striking to maximize your chances of success. In the game, you'll get to reveal the mysterious link between the eerie little town and Heather's innermost fears, meet a host of creepy characters that frankly you aren't sure are trustworthy as well as find out the magnet-like pull that Heather felt with Silent Hill.
