Alphabetty Saga vs WordCrafting: A Tower of Words
Alphabetty Saga
Alphabetty Saga is a new brain-twisting word game by King, the creator of the massively popular Candy Crush Saga! In this game, you’ll be helping Alphabetty to do a variety of chores such as collecting cheeses by dropping them down to the bottom of the board or popping bothersome bubbles. There are plenty of special word tiles that you can get if you match 4 and above tiles together to form a word. Of course, although the longer the better, sometimes, you’ll need to create short 4-letter words just so you can get the special tiles you need! If you need any help with a level, the game also offers some power-ups to give you a hand.Alphabetty Saga is indeed an excellently-designed and unique word game whereby it offers various fun and challenging game types as well as interesting and useful special letter tiles. If you enjoy word games, this is one game you won’t want to miss out!
WordCrafting: A Tower of Words
WordCrafting: A Tower of Words is a very intriguing and unique, fantasy-themed word puzzle game that combines the strategy and physics needed in tower-building games with the fun of unscrambling the letters in a word and making crossword puzzles. It may not be the easiest game to get into, but once you get how it works, you will quickly realize how refreshingly entertaining it is.The game offers 3 different game modes, which will be unlocked as you complete the previous mode. The game starts you off with the easiest MishMash mode, which basically consists of tower-building and unscrambling letters, and then move you on to the Classic mode that will require you to form your own words as you build your towers. Lastly, you'll get to the Endless mode whereby you will attempt to build the highest tower you can and see how well you rank among your friends on the leaderboard. There is also a Word of the Day mini-game to play, and some collectibles that you can collect by opening treasure chests.
Once in a while, I will stumble on a very much underrated word game that’s so unique, intriguing, refreshing, and challenging that it completely blows my mind (in a good way), and I’ve got to admit – WordCrafting: A Tower of Words is, without a doubt, one of these incredibly rare games. The number of new words you can learn through the MishMash mode of this game is simply astounding as well.
Granted that not many wordies may enjoy a game as different as this one, especially since the game seems to focus more on building solid structures rather than testing your vocabulary (at least in the MishMash mode), WordCrafting is definitely a game that wordies simply must try.
