Angry Birds Match adds a different twist to the usual slingshot-based gameplay that the Angry Birds franchise is incredibly renowned for. In this brand-new spin-off, Rovio delivers a whole new match-3 adventure where you'll not only need to organize the Hatchlings' party but also to protect it from the mischievous pigs. Mix and match up tons of cakes and party decor to solve the many and varied puzzle levels available. You can also bring out the big boys a.k.a. the Angry Birds like Red, Chuck, and Bomb with a match-4, and use explosive Boosters to clear the toughest levels. The best part of this game though, aside from the fact that you can play this game completely offline, is definitely the crazy-cute Hatchlings that you can collect. You can even visit them and put on the new outfits you've unlocked!Angry Birds Match may have done a complete 360 on the iconic gameplay that had made the franchise famous, but this isn't exactly their first attempt at doing so - There's an Angry Birds-themed racing game called Angry Birds Go! after all. That being said, this new game does help Rovio experiment with various other game genres just to see which new field they can expand the franchise into... and apparently, the casual match-3 genre is a pretty good bet.

Blossom Blast Saga is another excitingly-unique match-3 puzzle game from King, the makers of the hit casual game, Candy Crush Saga! Thhe game follows the story of Blossom the adventurous bee who longed to travel far and wide only to be held back by her obligations to her hive and queen... but no more! Help her collect the nectar she needs so she could set off on an adventure of her own!Like every other King's games, Blossom Blast Saga offers players a different gaming experience by changing its mechanics into something that's rather innovative. In this game, you'll be linking flowers together until you can make them bloom and hence, clear them off the board. Activate the powerful blasting powers inherent in special flowers to get more bonus points as well.
Blossom Blast Saga tries to set itself apart from other match-3 games by giving you a unique way of matching flowers together while solving challenging obstacles along the way. It is special enough to warrant a try at the very least, and if you find that you love the game, you can stay and enjoy the game's many levels.
