Atlas Reactor
Atlas Reactor not only dared to break the mold of arena-based competitive gaming that are saturated with MOBAs and MMOFPS games, it has also revolutionized the turn-based strategy genre with its unique game mechanics. The game also has a nice selection of uniquely different Freelancers that can be further customized through Ability Mods and Catalysts as well as various well-designed maps and game modes that add substantial points to the replayability of the game.Of course, as if that’s not enough to put Atlas Reactor on the map, its distinctive and bold graphics, reminiscence of the popular game, Borderlands, definitely sealed the deal. So, if you’re looking for a turn-based strategy game that’s refreshingly unique and is as competitive as any eSport games out there, Atlas Reactor is the one game you wouldn’t want to miss. Heroes Evolved
Heroes Evolved is a relatively unknown MOBA game - especially in this day and age where almost every gamer know what League of Legends and DotA 2 are. However, this shouldn't discourage you from experiencing the unique gameplay that this game has to offer. Fundamentally, the concept of the game is still the same old creep-killing and tower-pushing mechanics, but the few yet significant features added make a whole lot of difference. The game also has a ton of heroes that you can collect and play as, each having their own roles to play in a match, be it as a tanker, a carry or a ganker. The best thing about Heroes Evolved is the less intense atmosphere, making it much less stressful for newcomers to experience the game and the genre without getting flamed within minutes of playing a match. Not to mention, the pace of the game is somewhat casual as well so if you can no longer afford pouring hours into LoL or DotA 2, well... this game is here for you. Though, if you want to be competitive, this game also has a couple of competitive eSports-worthy tournaments throughout the year.
We'd say that Heroes Evolved is an excellent "more casual" alternative for both avid MOBA players and even new players who are trying out the genre for the first time.
