Block Star Party is a pretty unique match-3 puzzle game that doesn’t only allow you to match 3 or more tokens up; it also gives you a fixed objective for every level – you’ll need to remove all the blocks in the level by matching tokens right next to them, all the while keeping in mind how many moves you have left. In some way, the game’s unique concept has trapped Block Star Party in a corner since every level will literally have the same objective that is to clear the blocks, but it’s nice to note that the game has really overdone itself by creatively coming up with a variety of special blocks that injects a significant amount of difficulty into its levels. There is also a nice variety of special tokens and boosters that you’ll need to learn to use. You can even customize your blobling and dress it up in adorable outfits.So, if you like a bit of change in your usual dose of match-3 fun, Block Star Party is the sort of game that will surprise you, especially in the later levels. Faerie Solitaire Harvest
Faerie Solitaire Harvest is an intriguing, match-2-style solitaire game that’s set in a fantasy world filled with trapped faeries which you’ll have to save. I’ve played my fair share of solitaire games over the years, and somehow, this game still managed to utterly catch me by surprise… in a very good way. In addition to the crazily large number of levels available, it is very strategically-nuanced, focusing a lot more on getting a combo chain going, but still giving you an “out” if you do decide you just want to match some cards and forgo combos entirely.So, to sum everything up, Faeria Solitaire Harvest truly blows every other solitaire game out of the water. The game is not only a lot more strategic than your average solitaire game; it also comes with great art, an insane number of levels, lots of nice little bonuses such as achievements and collectibles, and of course, if you go premium or purchase the game on Steam, you’ll get even more bang for your buck with an elaborate talent tree, many more worlds to play and explore, pets, and valors that you can use to activate challenges and obtain better rewards.
