Block Star Party is a pretty unique match-3 puzzle game that doesn’t only allow you to match 3 or more tokens up; it also gives you a fixed objective for every level – you’ll need to remove all the blocks in the level by matching tokens right next to them, all the while keeping in mind how many moves you have left. In some way, the game’s unique concept has trapped Block Star Party in a corner since every level will literally have the same objective that is to clear the blocks, but it’s nice to note that the game has really overdone itself by creatively coming up with a variety of special blocks that injects a significant amount of difficulty into its levels. There is also a nice variety of special tokens and boosters that you’ll need to learn to use. You can even customize your blobling and dress it up in adorable outfits.So, if you like a bit of change in your usual dose of match-3 fun, Block Star Party is the sort of game that will surprise you, especially in the later levels. Word Forward
Word Forward is a fairly challenging, word puzzle game whereby the goal is not to make the longest word or even to find the rarest ones – it is to clear the board of all letter tiles by strategically forming words with the letters given. The game also provides plenty of help if you need them, though if you want to get a Gold star for every level, you’ll want to avoid relying too much on the aid given.Although Word Forward doesn’t add much to one of the many existing formats of word games that are already out there, the stuff it does add manages to help the game stand out. With the variety of strategic tools that you can use, Word Forward feels so much more flexible as a puzzle game since there are many ways you can go about clearing all the letters and solving the puzzles. Plus, the price is perfect for the levels and playtime it can offer, and as a nice bonus, you can even choose which platform and device you prefer to play the game on!
