It’s also free to play, which is a big deal for some who might not want to spend a few dollars just to pop balloons. Gameplay is even more intense because you’re out to defeat other players who’s probably sitting there waiting for your next move. The vast battle rooms allow you to explore and participate in many new challenges, which keeps the game interesting and never boring. Hex: Shards of Fate is a challenging MMO trading card game (TCG) where you play a wandering champion in the fictional world of Entrath. The game features a 1-on-1 card battle where you must deplete your opponent’s life to zero in order to win, as well as strategically in-depth deck-building and factions to side with. The gameplay draws inspiration from the popular board-based TCGs, such as Magic The Gathering which had admittedly gotten it into a bit of a tough spot with a lawsuit back in 2015. The game may have a slightly higher skill ceiling, but it's a solid MMOTCG that fans of the genre will enjoy.
