Crystal Saga II vs Grand Chase Reborn
Crystal Saga II
Crystal Saga II is the highly anticipated sequel to the popular browser-based MMORPG, Crystal Saga, that's released just last year. The gameplay itself rivals that of its predecessor and even of other current web-based MMOs, but its graphics has seen a huge revamp and has improved by leaps and bounds. This is evident during your adventures as you will be traversing multiple regions, as well as venturing into various dungeons and battlegrounds. In terms of the class choices, there are six classes to choose from in this game, namely: Knight, Ranger, Rogue, Beastmaster, Mage, and Priest. Each class has varying skills, and it’s a must to pick one according to your play style. You can also recruit a pet to fight for you, marry another character, join a guild and many more. With such an immersive gameplay, Crystal Saga II is so much better than the first game, and it's not surprising to see that this game is currently getting traction. So, if you love browser MMOs, this is one game you wouldn't want to miss!
Grand Chase Reborn
Grand Chase Reborn is a private Grand Chase server which was born to fulfill the need had arisen after the shut down of the official Grand Chase servers. This version of the game is pretty much similar to the original one. Grand Chase Reborn is an anime-inspired, 2.5D side-scrolling action MMO/platformer that may bring to mind other games like MapleStory. Aside from the adorable chibi characters, the game also have some colorful and appealing graphics. To play, you'll first get to select a character and from there you'll then get to choose a class out of the 8 classes available, each of them have their own set of skills and play styles. The character you choose will limit the classes you get, so you might want to try different character-class combos before heading into the game. Gameplay-wise, the game does have a pretty steep learning curve since you'll need to memorize the many ways you can combine various skills to get powerful combos. It also has a nice cooperative campaign for you to go through, if you dislike the idea of encountering a premium player during PvP.
If you really miss playing Grand Chase, you will definitely enjoy Grand Chase Reborn. If not, you'll feel like the advantages that premium players get far outweigh the insane amount of effort you'll put into the game to just be on equal footing as they are. It's a game that cures nostalgia but not exactly a game to play if you don't plan on being a premium player.
