Deus Ex: Human Revolution vs Star Wars Battlefront
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is the game that had literally blown up the Deus Ex franchise, rocketing the series to fame. Seriously, what's not to love about Deus Ex: Human Revolution? The game not only retains but also improved on many aspects that had defined the franchise, from its stealth-heavy gameplay and the amazing arsenal of augments to its choice-driven, moral dilemma-infused, well-crafted and non-linear storyline, but what made this game really stand out is its incredibly immersive, cyberpunk world that is oddly very relatable (despite being set in the future and all) and a dark yet charismatic protagonist (a bit like the Max Payne in the first 2 games) that everyone can truly feel for.As usual, the game's story has many ethically-charged decisions and choices that you'll have to make, which in turn will result in very different outcomes and sometimes, may even trigger a cascade of other events. You can also opt to avoid killing anyone in your gameplay (a full stealth run) or you could simply end every encounter with a blood bath. The best part in this game though is that at the very end, your every decision will affect the overall summary of your character's very being.
It's not at all surprising to see how Deus Ex: Human Revolution has managed to reach out and attract the interest of so many gamers. The game is incredibly well-designed and created and every bit of detail in the game is simply exquisite! If you want to get into the series, this is THE game to buy.
Star Wars Battlefront
Star Wars Battlefront is perhaps one of the best Star Wars games to date. In this game, you can truly immerse yourself in one of Star Wars iconic battles complete with stormtroopers, walkers, and lightsaber-wielding Jedis on the ground, as well as X-wings and TIE fighters in the skies. You can choose to play on either the Rebels' or the Imperial side in the conflict, fighting for either the light or the dark side. Each multiplayer match can house up to 40 players, making each battle as hectic and lively as the real thing in the movies! There are many different planets you can do battle on and naturally, the different biomes and terrain of each planet pose a different challenge even to the most hardcore of players. If multiplayer is not for you, you can even go co-op instead and dive into the many exciting challenges alongside your buddies, or simply play solo.Best yet, if you happen to own a Playstation copy of the game and also a Playstation VR, you can enjoy some bonus virtual reality content where you get to engage in dog-fights and blast at enemies from your very own space fighter.
Star Wars Battlefront is definitely designed with the idea of bringing the grand battles and suave action you often see on the big screen to a platform that allows you to not only interact with the many characters in it but also to really engage and role-play your favorite characters. Couple that with original Star Wars soundtrack and the massive effort put into making sure that every meticulous detail is accurate, this is a game that will give any Star Wars fan a huge rush!
