Draconius GO vs Knights & Dragons
Draconius GO
Draconius GO is the game to play if you love Pokemon Go but you find that it's getting a bit dull for you. Like Pokemon Go, Draconius Go is an augmented reality game where you set off on an adventure to capture as many of the 125 dragons as you can. Each of these dragons are very well-designed (though some of them may look rather cheesy and un-dragon-like) and all of them can be upgraded. Similarly, there will be "arenas" (think "gyms") that you can attack and capture as well, though the combat system seems to be a bit more interactive and active rather than being simply a tap=fest. Not to mention, you can even get eggs that you can then ask the Mother of Dragons to help you hatch. However, interestingly, Draconius Go offers a lot more features that fans of the handheld Pokemon games would rejoice for, such as random encounters where you'll have to fend off wild dragons, and duels with other players, as well as more RPG-type elements, like artifacts which are basically your set of armor and weapons, as well as a treasure hunt where you can attempt to find all the treasure chests in the area.
Draconius Go may feel like a Pokemon Go knock-off but once you get into it, you'll quickly realize that it plays like a game that Pokemon Go could have been. So, if you've always find Pokemon Go a bit lacking, you might enjoy Draconius Go instead.
Knights & Dragons
Knights & Dragons is a fun fantasy-themed RPG that is quite similar to Artix's popular browser-based 2D RPG, AdventureQuest, in terms of its art style and the humor it uses in its dialogue and storyline. In this game, you play as a Knight-Commander of the Kingdom, who was sent to the kingdom's frontier to push back against the horde of relentless monsters sent to attack the people by the evil Dark Prince. Aside from being able to assemble a team of noble knights, you can even capture battle pets that will help bolster certain stats, in addition to contributing some DPS, during combat. Not to mention, you will also get to build a base of some sort in this game. The base mainly houses some structures that will either help you upgrade or craft armor, or help you by generating coins passively over time. There's also a PvP arena for you to test your mettle against rival knights, a gacha-style Chance Chest where you can potentially win powerful armor sets, and even a guild system.
Knights & Dragons may look like a kid's RPG on the surface, much like AdventureQuest did, but if you really get into the game, you'll find that the game has plenty of depth, a pretty interesting storyline and a host of characters that are quite funny.
