This game is an entire new story, where 2 bad guys: Towa and Mira are manipulating time and changing the history of the universe you know. It is up to you as the new hero to stop them, in a series of battles and fun arenas to explore you must save the timeline.Choose your race, gender and look as you create your own character. As you play through the game become apprenticed to the characters you know and learn their moves. Explore the different areas of the map and battle your enemies in a fun new game that rediscovers the world of Saiyans.

Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle is a rather odd game to say the least. Even though it is based on the popular Dragon Ball anime series, the characters that appear in the game as well as the storylines are all messed up due to "dimensional distortion". For fans of the series, the game may appear to be incredibly confusing since your favorite characters will end up battling their future or past selves.That said, the game is a team-based game where you have to assemble a team of heroes and/or villains from the Dragon Ball universe and pit them against the game's many enemies. You can even test the strength of your team in various exciting tournaments which will see you battling other players from around the world.
The most interesting part though is the game's puzzle like combat system where you need to match same-colored Ki spheres to deal devastating damage. You can also switch fighters, guard against attacks and start combo moves.
Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle is a mind-boggling game but its innovation can be quite refreshing especially for players who are sick and tired of the generic browser MMO format. However, the game can be a bit of a turn-off for fans of the series mainly because the game's confusing on so many levels.
