Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers vs Heroes of Might & Magic
Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers
Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers takes a different path from the rest of the much loved series. Instead of hack and slash here you have a turn based strategy game that uses the characters you know in a unique way. You are once more in the 3 Kingdoms of Ancient China and this time you find a strange Mystic called Lixia who needs your help to find and control 5 elemental orbs, all of which are scattered around the world. Thus begins your adventure as you move around trying to find them and reclaim them so that the world can once more be at peace. You begin by forming a party of up to 5 characters, with stats from a preset style and skills that fit the character and what you know from other games about them. These stats determine how you fight in the battles and you have skills that level up, and of course super abilities too. All in all a different take on the game but a lot of fun and the tactical experience is well worth playing.
Heroes of Might & Magic
Heroes of Might & Magic transports you to the world of Enroth where you become the dispossessed rightful king of an empire called Lord Morglin Ironfist. Here you must battle to survive and ultimately rule the lands under a peaceful reign. Though to get that peace you must defeat 3 powerful enemies and take control of their lands. In this amazing and opening title you have a wonderful blend of Strategy, Simulation and Wargame. This combination makes for an exciting gameplay and the story keeps you wanting to find out how it all ends.Use your mighty heroes to lead your armies in battle as you use magical and mythical creatures as shock troops to capture or destroy your enemies. With a brilliant style and engaging gameplay this adventure is full to the brim of excitement and has a really amazing feel when you are in the world. Despite being an older game there is a charm and finesse that you just do not see any more. A brilliant and fun experience.
