Rune Factory 2 is more like a combination of a farm simulation/RPG and The Sims mainly because you can actually have children in the game and you can then switch character and play as your child instead. This sort of multigenerational storyline is unheard of in the gaming world! The game also provides players with a whole new story set in Alvarna that has been hit by multiple earthquakes with unknown origins in recent days.
