The game features an in-depth character development and progression, allowing you to combine any of the six unique classes to from a dual class character, using the game's Devotion system to unlock powerful secondary effects for your skills, as well as equip a wide variety of weapons and armor, each of which can be further enhanced.The hack-and-slash combat in this game is incredibly visceral as well, making it very satisfying to slay your enemies. There are even factions that you can curry favor with and quests that have outcomes depending on your choices while you lend a hand to help various huamn enclaves to rebuild the world. Grim Dawn can also be played via its multiplayer mode (up to 4 players), which will give you challenges that emphasize more strongly on teamwork.

With Garrett's wide arsenal of skills and tools at your disposal, you'll need to covertly infiltrate mansions, sneak across rofftops, and take out unwitting guards quickly and silently. The AI in the game is rather clever as well and are very well-aware of their surroundings, giving the game a higher degree of difficulty than you might expect.Every aspect in the game caters to the art of stealth, be it sneaking along a wall or quietly wringing a poor guard's neck. So, if you enjoy stealth-based games, you'll definitely love Thief.
