Guild Wars 2 vs Metin 2
Guild Wars 2
Guild Wars 2 is one of the world's most recognizable MMORPGs and is listed among the topmost MMO games of all time... a position that is hotly contested by another equally epic MMORPG, World of Warcraft. However, unlike WoW, the game abhors the subscription model and, like Elder Scrolls Online, has opted for a more feasible and, honestly, a more player-fair model - the buy-once-to-play model. That aside, Guild Wars 2 has a ton of content that doesn't live up to its title but also make every cent you've spent to buy the game prove its worth several times over. What's not to like right? In addition to an incredibly addictive gameplay where combat is action-based and battles are affected by a one-of-a-kind, weapons-and-profession-based skills system, you get updates for free! There are fun, dynamic questing events, massive cross-server PvP events, and even... wait for it... underwater combat!
Best yet, the game has recently relented a little due to the release of its major expansion back in 2015, allowing new players to try the base game out for completely free! After all, it’s not every day you’ll get to enjoy one of the best games in MMO history for free. So, don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity and play Guild Wars 2 today!
Metin 2
Metin 2 is an oriental-themed MMORPG that was released back in 2004 and has somehow persevered until today. Granted that it is a very old game and its graphics may not be up to par, the game itself still provides plenty of action combat and grindy killing quests that some people may enjoy! There are 5 different characters for you to choose from including the rather special Sura and Lycan classes, as well as 3 different warring factions. Although the game is basically a stat-based game, there are also character skills that you can invest in and upgrade. Not to mention, the game’s mount system is perhaps one of the most unique and complex among all the MMOs out there. Of course, where there are mounts, usually, you’ll get pets as well and Metin 2 features quite a lot of them!To sum up, if you enjoy old school, grindy MMOs, then you might want to give Metin 2 a try. The game is decent for its age and even until now still has
