Puzzle Pirates: Dark Seas
Puzzle Pirates: Dark Seas lets you dive right into a brand-new puzzle adventure in this brilliant pirate-themed and kid-friendly MMO game. Touted as being the "gloomy" sequel to the popular Puzzle Pirates, this game retained many of the same features that had allowed the original to continue to thrive up until this day while adding in a dark twist to things to reflect its new theme.Play cooperatively with your fellow crew as you set sail to search for treasures or simply to take on other rival pirates at sea. With tons of fun mini puzzle games to enjoy, each of which has their own leaderboards for you to compete against other players on, you'll never get bored playing this game. Like the original, you can even customize your character by dressing him or her up in cool new clothes along with your own ship.
However, to spice things up, the game has also added in more challenging gameplay such as hunting sea monsters which can take quite awhile to complete. You can now become the governor of a Pirate Haven as well, in addition to managing your own shop, and crafting new items for your pirate to use or to sell.
Puzzle Pirates: Dark Seas is a great sequel to a timeless and child-friendly MMO game. Unlike its predecessor though, Puzzle Pirates: Dark Seas is completely free-to-play. No subscription is needed to enjoy everything the game has to offer! It's just a pity that the game population is on the lower-end, but you still can have quite a lot of fun, especially once you've relearned all the skills and tricks you need to be good at all the puzzles again.
