Heroes Evolved vs Zula
Heroes Evolved
Heroes Evolved is a relatively unknown MOBA game - especially in this day and age where almost every gamer know what League of Legends and DotA 2 are. However, this shouldn't discourage you from experiencing the unique gameplay that this game has to offer. Fundamentally, the concept of the game is still the same old creep-killing and tower-pushing mechanics, but the few yet significant features added make a whole lot of difference. The game also has a ton of heroes that you can collect and play as, each having their own roles to play in a match, be it as a tanker, a carry or a ganker. The best thing about Heroes Evolved is the less intense atmosphere, making it much less stressful for newcomers to experience the game and the genre without getting flamed within minutes of playing a match. Not to mention, the pace of the game is somewhat casual as well so if you can no longer afford pouring hours into LoL or DotA 2, well... this game is here for you. Though, if you want to be competitive, this game also has a couple of competitive eSports-worthy tournaments throughout the year.
We'd say that Heroes Evolved is an excellent "more casual" alternative for both avid MOBA players and even new players who are trying out the genre for the first time.
Zula
Zula is a Europe-only, free-to-play MMOFPS game that will see you joining either the group of militarized vigilantes (the Zulas) or the paramilitary force that has its fingers in almost every military organization around the world. Featuring a military-style gameplay that many Counter Strike players, especially the older versions of the game, can relate to and may even enjoy immensely. The game offers tons of game modes for you to enjoy, most of which are team-based, though there are solo modes like the Free-for-all mode. If you're good enough to compete in ranked matches, there are tournaments for you to sign up as well. In fact, Zula is apparently pretty huge in the eSports industry, but of course, if you are to compare it with CS:GO then, it'd be an unfair comparison. With so many weapons and skins along with characters who are based off on popular TV heroes, it is no wonder Zula has had so much success and for so long in Europe. We are not sure when... or even if the game is going to be opened up to the global gamer population but in the meanwhile, you can check out our games like Zula below. If you're from Europe though, then be sure to give this game a try!
