HuniePop vs My Shelf: My Choice, My Episode
HuniePop
HuniePop is a rather different adult "dating" simulation game containing some forms of hentai (again, NSFW!). Its gameplay is partly RPG where you get to interact with the hot anime girls in the game through messages, some of which can be pretty hilarious. The other part of the game is filled with entertaining match-3 puzzles that are surprisingly challenging - you need to play these puzzles to increase your affection level with the anime ladies in the game. The last part of the game is its dating sim aspect, where you need to buy gifts and send them to the correct girl who will like the said gift. Build up your affection level and you might be able to get them to accept you as their boyfriend.Interestingly, the game even allows you to customize the appearance of the eight girls (each with different personalities) that you can date and unlock more varieties of outfits and hairstyles. And of course, being an adult game, you can expect some pretty steamy scenes involving these anime babes.
HuniePop is also featured in a visual novel-style which will appeal to most anime-loving guys. So, if you're into anime girls, this might be a game that'll interest you.
My Shelf: My Choice, My Episode
My Shelf: My Choice, My Episode is a mobile game that is quite similar to Episodes or Choices where you'll get to "experience" various stories and influence how the story goes by picking dialogue choices or making important appearance-based decisions based on what you wear and how you look. Whether you like the idea of engaging in high school drama or fall for a mysterious yet suave vampire, this game has all of these stories and more! New chapters and stories are also added on a weekly basis, so you'll definitely have enough stories to read and enjoy.Unlike the other story apps though, My Shelf doesn't seem to have a section that allows players to create their own stories. Maybe this is a feature that will be added in later down the road. After all, the game already has all the elements in place for such a feature.
So, overall, My Shelf: My Choice, My Episode is a pretty decent alternative to games like Episodes or Choices despite lacking a pretty key feature which allows players to create their own stories and share them with the community.
