Insidia vs Plants vs Zombies: Heroes
Insidia
Insidia is a free-to-play, turn-based, tactical game that has you taking 4 different fighters into battle to destroy the opponents 3 towers that represent their life bar. Currently in development by Bad Seed, Insidia is in open beta for the moment and is considered an Early Access title on Steam, so it isn’t quite perfect just yet, but the developers have the full intentions on getting the maximum amount of potential out of this one. The game does have some nice ideas and is definitely a unique twist for the turn-based tactics genre (having simultaenous turns and all, much like Atlas Reactor), it just needs some serious refinement, that’s all. There needs to be more characters, their animations need to be a little more polished, and the attacks need to have some decent impact behind their sounds, but the overall experience in the game is a positive one and does make for a fun couple of games here and there.Plants vs Zombies: Heroes
Plants vs Zombies: Heroes is an MMOCCG with a very interesting gameplay that is built on its famous brand of tower defense. In this game, Dr Zomboss is, once again, up to no good! His greatest invention yet – the Zombot Hero-Tron 5000 has malfunctioned, transforming rare Plants and Zombies from around the world into superheroes with, obviously, super powers.Take on these amped up heroes and their minions in a brand new turn-based battlefield in Plants vs Zombies: Heroes, where a good deck, a brilliant strategy, a huge dose of luck, and more importantly, excellent skills, are crucial to secure a victory. Play against other players via the game’s ranked or casual PvP Leagues and see how high you rank on the leaderboard.
If you’re a fan of the whimsical humor that the Plants vs Zombies franchise is so famous for and have loved playing MMOCCGs, you’ll definitely enjoy the unique twist infused into Plants vs Zombies: Heroes.
