Into the Dead

Into the Dead is a fairly simply first-person shooter game that has some of the most intense zombie-themed post-apocalyptic setting that I have ever experienced. To stay alive, you not only need to have great aim; you'll also know when to run. Like most FPS games, the game does have a nice arsenal of weapons for you to use, but so far, this aspect seems a bit lacking since 1. there isn't a lot of variety unless you pay real money and 2. there is no way for you to upgrade your existing weapons. There are also tons of thrilling missions and minigames to complete as well as new game modes and features to enjoy.

Although Into the Dead is not perfect, the game does have that special thrill of horror as you do your best to fend off the incoming hordes of zombies. It is definitely the perfect game to play if you're up for a heart-pounding zombie-killing, post-apocalyptic adventure. Rise of the Triad was one of the best cult-classic of its era and now, the younger generation (along with the old) will get to enjoy this timeless first-person shooter game once again in this brilliant improved yet stoically-original version. In this game, you'll get to step into the shoes of the High-Risk United Nations Taskforce (or H.U.N.T. for short) as you blast your way through levels of non-stop, gory-filled action, gunning down enemies left and right as they come at you. Each level is also filled with secret niches and collectibles for you to find, and of course, who can forget the game's iconic original soundtrack... which has been reworked with elements of heavy metal to make it even more intense than before.

With better graphics and an overall improved experience well-suited for the modern gamer, Rise of the Triad will be able to attract new players into its fold with its intriguing storyline and fun gameplay, while retaining enough of the original to give older players a nostalgic journey as they replayed one of their favorite games back in the day.
