Life is Strange is an episodic graphic adventure game where you'll get to follow the story of Max Caulfield, a photography student at Blackwell Academy who accidentally discovers she can rewind time when she stumbled upon a murder scene in the academy's bathroom. Soon after, she hooked up with her new friend, Chloe Price, in an attempt to use her gift to solve a string of disappearances around the town of Arcadia Bay.Featuring an incredibly engaging story that has multiple endings depending on the choices you make, the game doesn't only perfectly presents its characters' personalities, but also touches on the so-called butterfly effect that time reversals will cause. The game is also filled with brilliant indie soundtracks that enhance the overall game experience, further immersing you into its story.

Mass Effect is a science-fiction-themed where you play as the charismatic leader of an elite squad of three, Commander Shepard, as you set off on an epic adventure across the galaxy to save your civilization and to put an end to the traitorous Saren and his army, or if you're playing the free DLC, the Batarians. Ranging from the character customization to its incredibly-intriguing, open-ended storyline, Mass Effect offers a depth that hasn't been seen before at the time of its release in 2008. You can actually build or destroy relationships with your team members in the game by choosing a dialogue option during conversations as well. Being a space-themed game, you'll even get to explore the vast galaxy and search for crucial minerals on potentially mineral-rich planets.The gameplay in Mass Effect may not be as great as other games of its generation but it's good enough to help carry the game's amazing narrative forward.
