Like the other games in the genre, you can customize your avatar's looks as well from time to time just so you can unlock the best possible plot for your character.
The only complaint that many players have voiced is that the diamonds that are needed to purchase unique clothes to open up new dialogue choices or to skip the waiting time in between parts of the story can be very difficult to earn as a free-to-play player.
