Mad Father vs The Walking Dead: Season Two
Mad Father
Mad Father is a rather terrifying horror-adventure game where you play as the young girl Aya who has lost her mother and is currently living with her dad. However, during the night of her mother's death anniversary, she was startled awake by her dad's screams and found that, somehow, the home she now lives in is filled with the undead and other unimaginable horrors. With her father's assistant, Maria, by her side, will they be able to escape these unholy creatures and perhaps save her father? The game has garnered plenty of critical acclaim mainly because of the incredible yet uncomfortable (the story was written by a Japanese) plot twists and partly because the game itself contains plenty of really terrifying jumpscares that will make you jump at least an inch off your seat. The voice acting and sound effects are amazing too as they managed to make the already scary game even more immersively creepy with echoes of perverted laughter and screams. The game also has some puzzles for you to solve but they are pretty easy and seemed secondary to the game.
Many players have compared Mad Father with another equally scary game, Helena. So, if you enjoy giving yourself a scare, you might want to check this game out.
The Walking Dead: Season Two
The Walking Dead: Season Two is the exciting sequel to the highly acclaimed Telltale game series, The Walking Dead. This game continues the story of Clementine, a young orphaned girl who was left to fend for herself after her protector tragically sacrificed himself for her safety many months ago. Play as the young girl as she does whatever she can to survive and yet tries to retain the good that's left of humanity. Presented with various scenarios, events and moral dilemmas that a young girl shouldn't have to face, you'll need to help her make critical decisions that will change the path of her story, resulting in very differnt endings.Like the previous game, The Walking Dead: Season Two contains 5 episodes in total, namely All that Remains, A House Divided, In Harm's Way, Amid the Ruins and No Going Back.
This is definitely a game you'll want to get if you've played the Season One of the game. If not, get the Season One first before you accidentally spoiled the story for yourself!
