Available for the Nintendo DS, New Super Mario Bros boasts of having brilliant 3D graphics, and a next-level gameplay that adds to and improves on everything you've loved in the older version. There are new power-ups, moves, worlds, levels, as well as secrets to find. There is also 2 multiplayer modes in this game, Mario vs. Luigi and Minigames. Mario vs. Luigi will see you racing against your brother to collect stars while Minigames offers you a wide range of fun relaxing mini-games that you can play solo or play with up to 4 other players in the Minigames tournament.With so many new features to offer, New Super Mario Bros has definitely one-upped its predecessor by more than a mile. New Super Mario Bros 2 provides you with another exciting Super Mario adventure to embark on to save the hapless Princess Peach from Bowser! This time around though, the Mushroom Kingdom has a lot more gold coins for Mario to collect - and he needs to collect as many as he can - in addition to simply completing a level. There are also special power-ups that can turn everything in Mario's path in coins. Aside from the usual 2-player multiplayer mode, the game now has a new Coin Rush mode where players will rush through 3 levels while collecting as many coins as they can and then challenge their friends to do the same. With the return of Raccoon Mario, Mario can even fly and access hidden places around the game.New Super Mario Bros 2 is an incredibly fun game - more so than the previous version, that's for sure. So, if you can afford it, you should definitely buy this game.
