Pixel Gun 3D vs The Walking Dead: Our World
Pixel Gun 3D
Pixel Gun 3D is a voxel-based, mobile MMOFPS game that has taken the world by storm! Featuring a fun voxel-like look, the game has tons of game modes for you to enjoy including both multiplayer (deathmatch) and co-op modes. That's not all, the game also provides an exhilarating survival campaign where players will get swarmed by hordes of zombies of all shapes and sizes and if you survive, you'll get to face the big bad boss at the end. Of course, the campaign has multiple levels, each with a slightly increased difficulty, for you to enjoy and you'll only get to proceed to the next stage after defeating the previous boss. What makes Pixel Gun 3D so unique though is definitely the insane amount of variety it offers. Aside from game modes, the game has an awesome arsenal of the deadliest weapons, ranging magical swords to fire-breathing guns, as well as plenty of beautifully-designed maps. There's even an in-match chat system that allows you to coordinate with your team more effectively during combat.
The graphics in Pixel Gun 3D may have you fooled as to how hardcore the gameplay might be - it is incredibly so - but make no mistake, when it comes to competitve MMOFPS games on the mobile platform, Pixel Gun 3D is perhaps the most popular. If you like fun yet hardcore shooters, you'll want to try this game out!
The Walking Dead: Our World
The Walking Dead: Our World is a fun geo-based augmented reality game that is inspired by the hit TV show, The Walking Dead. Following in the successful footsteps of Pokemon Go, the game features a simple tap-based gameplay where you complete missions by killing zombies, rescuing trapped people and bringing them to your shelter, and even fight other hostile survivors. You won't be doing all of this alone either! The game lets you recruit and upgrade a host of familiar companions to fight alongside you, in addition to collecting powerful weapons and improving them.Unlike Pokemon Go where you will need to travel to a location to collect "resources" like pokeballs and berries or to search for new pokemon, in this game, you can enjoy a sufficient portion of the game without actually budging from your spot. However, there are some aspects that still require some traveling, such as survivor rescue. Players can band together here as well, and this is advantageous mainly because you can basically "teleport" to any location in the world where members of your group have put up a flare.
The Walking Dead: Our World has a really great game design and is backed by one of the most popular TV shows around (short of Game of Thrones, of course). However, the game can only run properly on mid-high to high-end devices, and well, it might be hard to get fans of the show to jump on the bandwagon and try the game out since the demographics for this game are very different from Pokemon Go, which mainly appeals to teens to young adults today.
