Robomaniac vs Supreme Commander
Robomaniac
Robomaniac is a casual RPG that follows in the footsteps of games like Hero Zero. However, instead of casting you as the neighborhood superhero, you get to build and customize your own robot in this game. Set on the planet of Centerra, the world is almost devoid of human life due to a massive catastrophic event that had happened 30 years ago. After the radiation levels returned to normal, the robots that those colonials left behind began to reactivate and eventually, a thriving but "dog-eat-dog"-style society of robots grew from the ashes of the previous human civilization.Much like Hero Zero or any other browser-based casual RPGs, you'll need to make your character the best that it can be by not only taking on friendlies and rivals in duels and other PvP-oriented matches; you will also need to spend the Credits you've earned in improving your bot just so it can beat up tougher bots later down the road. The game also features fun mission-based quests, plenty of crazy upgrades, and of course, a humorous tone that may just tickle your funny bone from time to time.
The English version of Robomaniac has recently been released. So, if you like casual RPGs, you might want to give this game a try!
Supreme Commander
Supreme Commander is an excellent spiritual successor to the popular strategic game, Total Annihilation. Set in a futuristic world and a futuristic war between three factions, the game lets you dive into the turning point in the war where only one faction can emerge as the victor. The gameplay emphasizes strongly on strategic planning and thinking ahead as you'll not only need to amass an offensive force to take out your enemies; you'll also need to build up your base's defenses in order to repel invading armies.Aside from its abandoned multiplayer mode, the most unfortunate thing about this game though is that there isn't a speed up option so most of the processes in the game are incredibly slow. Even the movement of your vehicles is slow. So, unless you have hours after hours to spend, Supreme Commander might not appeal to you as much - you might want to try its sequel instead.
