Sword Art Online: Memory Defrag vs War of Crown
Sword Art Online: Memory Defrag
Sword Art Online: Memory Defrag is a rather unique mobile MMORPG that follows the popular anime and light novel series of the same name, Sword Art Online. In this game, you'll be playing as a low-level Kirito and will be attempting to escape from the VR MMORPG that you are trapped in by going through all 100 floors of the Aincrad castle. Aside from its storyline, the majority of its characters are also based off from the actual anime series, including all the original voice actors. Best yet, you can actually recruit these familiar characters to your team of heroes through a fun gacha-like system before heading off to battle both AI enemies and other human players alike. After all, in this game, your team's survival is the only thing that matters! That said, the most unique part about this game is that the game interestingly combines elements from a standard 2D side-scrolling action game with all the complexities and nuances of a casual role-playing game, which results in a one-of-a-kind gaming experience that fans of SAO and/or RPGs can really get behind. If you love SAO or maybe mobile MMORPGs in general, you'll definitely enjoy playing this game.
War of Crown
War of Crown is an anime-styled, turn-based tactics RPG that's played on a grid. Developed by Gamevil, the game features an epic storyline where you get to follow in the footsteps of Eshirite, the Child of Destiny. In this game, you'll need to recruit heroes and assemble the ultimate battle party which allow you to make full use of each member's unique skills, synergy effects and combat capabilities.Although most of its gameplay elements and concepts are far from being original, it’s a well-polished title and something that casual players and strategy game enthusiasts should get their hands on. With a deep, tactical battle system, intricate hero management aspects, and an intuitive user interface, War of Crown may be one of the top RPGs currently on the market.
The game was shutdown in early 2017, and although we all are sad to see it go, we thought you could use a list of other games like War of Crown that you can play instead. Check them out!
