Talking Tom Gold Run vs Ticket to Ride
Talking Tom Gold Run
Talking Tom Gold Run is a fun runner-style mobile game that will put you on the edge of your seat! Featuring a nice selection of exciting power-ups, gorgeous locations to run in and the familiar cast of Tom and his friends to play as, this game has everything a player would want in an endless running game. You can even upgrade your character's power-ups and upgrade the homes of various characters just to get more score multipliers. The game also has a nice twist - instead of being chased by someone or something, the roles are now reversed.Of course, gameplay-wise, the game spices things up from time to time with exciting boss fights. Once you've completed a certain number of runs, you will even get to unlock the Racing mode for that location, allowing you to compete with 2 other players from around the world in a race to be the first to reach the finish line. The gameplay for this game mode is quite different from the usual normal running mode, allowing players to time their charged sprint ability (functions like turbo boosts) and strategize their movements.
There have been numerous popular endless running games - Temple Run, Minion Rush, and Subway Surfers are among the few that comes to mind, but Talking Tom Gold Run manages to carve out a niche for itself by providing a game that's not only familiar to their fans due to the many characters available, but also incredibly addictive to play. If you enjoy a good runner game, this is one game you'll want to play!
Ticket to Ride
Ticket to Ride is a family-favorite board game that's set in the glorious age of big trains and engines - during the railroad boom of the 18th century. In this game, you'll need to claim routes using train cards and the limited number of train cars you have, while completing as many tickets as you can. To claim a route, you'll need to use train cards of the corresponding color, though there are some exceptions to the rules, such as gray routes and wild Locomotive cards. The very strategic, turn-based gameplay mainly centers around competing with the other players in the match to claim routes that you need. If someone else claimed a route you planned on taking, then you'll have no choice but to find an alternative route, which will cost you more time and resources (train cards). However, that's actually where the fun of the game lies. You don't know what routes your opponents planned on taking and sometimes, you may be forced to adapt to the evolving situation and find another way to get to the station you need.
This digitized version of Ticket to Ride doesn't differ much from its physical/original version and that's a plus for fans of the board game. It has multiple game modes and expansions (at a cost though) as well, giving players the chance to compete with other players across the globe and more maps to play on. If you enjoy a solid strategy board game, Ticket to Ride is a game you'll want to try!
