Avataria vs MapleStory 2
Avataria
Avataria is a virtual world game that allows you to become whoever you'd like to be. Customize your avatar to your liking by changing not only its physical looks but also how it is dressed - you can purchase more outfits, costumes and accessories at the mall. Aside from making friends and chatting with them, you can also visit a wide variety of places in the game, ranging from the hangout spot at the park or even at a beauty salon to the hippest clubs in town.Best yet, you are even given your very own virtual home to decorate as you see fit. Throw rave parties at your place and invite everyone on the server to attend! You can visit your friends' homes and just to chill with them (and maybe pick up some interior decorating tips) as well.
Avataria is an amazingly fun virtual world game that everyone can enjoy despite being mainly targeted towards the "teens and tweens" playerbase. So, be sure to drop by Avataria if you're interested and explore this beautiful virtual world.
MapleStory 2
MapleStory 2 is the highly-anticipated sequel to the popular 2D side-scrolling MMORPG/virtual world game, MapleStory. However, this game is almost unrecognisable as "MapleStory" due to the massive changes (some positive, some.... well, not so much) done to the game. For starters, the game is fully in 3D now and it adopted a voxel-based style which is similar to Portal Knights and Trove. The game is also more customizable than ever, allowing players to not only build their own homes in the game; they can also design outfits and gear for their characters. Of course, you will still be able to change your character's looks, such as changing ther hairstyle and color, as well.Despite all the outer and some internal changes, the game's core remained unchanged - it is still a social virtual world-like MMO game where players can just relax by taking a dip in their outdoor pool if they tire of adventures and monster slaying. They can even drop by a friend's place and just to hang out.
MapleStory 2 is definitely not simply a "copy-paste" version of the original. Instead, the developers have given the game and the franchise new life by adapting the game to the tastes of the current generation of gamers. It is still not available worldwide despite being touted as "globally released", but most countries should be able to access it by now. If your country is covered, you might want to give the game a try!
