AVICII Invector vs Cytus
AVICII Invector
AVICII Invector is an action rhythm game that is as well-made as the songs you’ll be able to enjoy as you play. The game features 25 of AVICII's biggest hits, a gameplay that isn't too punishing and the effects even for players new to the genre, and cool, neon effects and animations that look incredible when coupled with electronic music. As a bonus, the game even comes with a nice little story about a spirited collector pilot who’s on a special mission… and what the mission is actually about? Well, that’s for us to find out! This game is definitely a breathtaking tribute to one of the greatest DJs of our generation. The gameplay in this game is brilliantly well-done and isn’t too punishing, even to players who are new to the action rhythm genre. Besides the brilliant effects and animations that matched so well with the music, there’s also a nice story about a spunky collector pilot. Definitely a must-play for fans of AVICII’s music and rhythm games!
Cytus
Cytus is a fun and challenging, rhythm mobile game that has a rather striking futuristic/sci-fi theme and an intriguing story about how future robots try to save the human emotions they contain from being erased by storing them in the form of music. Cytus is the place where the music will eventually be kept.In terms of gameplay, the controls are easy to learn since there are, at most, 3 types of notes, but there are multiple ways of tapping on those 3 notes. Aside from its intuitive Active Scan Line system, Cytus also features over 200 songs and 400 variations of said songs. However, don't expect to be bip boppin' to the latest hits though. The songs are mostly just music (no singing) and they are often from the dance/electronic genre, though there are some from other genres, like pop, jazz, and trance, too.
Cytus is perhaps the first mobile game of its kind to include a really profound storyline in addition to its incredibly-addictive rhythm-based gameplay. If you're looking for a fun rhythm game for your mobile, this is definitely a game you'll want to play.
