Brawl Stars vs Gigantic
Brawl Stars
Brawl Stars is an arena shooter with a couple of pretty nice twist - it has a fun ".IO game" feel to it; the game has destructible environments, and the game snagged an element from the popular battle royale genre, that is the wall of poison gas that's slowly closing in.The game has two main game modes, Free for all and Team mode, where each team consists of 3 players. In many ways, the team mode reminded me of the old Survival mode on Paladins where players all converge to the capture point in the middle of the map to duke it out and determine the last person/team standing; a mode which they had unfortunately scrapped.
Brawl Stars also features tons of unique brawlers for you to play with. Each of them has their own set of special abilities. This, in turn, is quite similar to the character formats used in traditional MOBA games.
From the makers of addictive multiplayer games like Clash Royale and Clash of Clans, Brawl Stars is a new addition to Supercell's repertoire that will make its other successful games proud. It's unique, fun (addictively so at that), and best of all, it caters to a vast majority of players who simply want to enjoy a few 3-minute (or so) competitive matches on their phones.
Gigantic
Gigantic is a brand-new and unique MOBA-like game that revolutionizes the genre by infusing elements from an RPG, namely a boss fight, with an objective-based gameplay. Unlike other MOBAs, Gigantic will have players fight for the control of their team’s respective power points to gather up enough power to activate their team’s Guardians – the gryphon Leiran for House Aurion and the serpentine Grenn for House Davaedra. With the Guardians’ help, players from both teams will then battle it out in an attempt to wipe out each other’s Guardians and win the match. In addition to its special art style, there are tons of other details in the gameplay that make it very entertaining and competitive to play. The game is also played in the third-person, which offers players more ways to flank and outflank the enemy. Of course, there is a wide range of heroes in this game as well, each has their own set of skills and playstyle that allow players to gain a drastically different gaming experience every time they try new characters. Best yet, everything in the game, including skins, can be purchased using game cash too!
Gigantic had almost become a game that never was, but by some miracle, it finally made it to its release. We couldn’t imagine not being able to experience the game’s fresh and exciting gameplay, and we’re sure many players - fans of the MOBA genre, especially – will feel the same way too.
