Although you'll be building decks using cards from five different factions and playing them, the cards will turn into awesome-looking 2D sprites when played on the board. Aside from the fast-paced gameplay, the board itself is also tactically designed, making the positions of each of your heroes incredibly important. The game has some really fast-paced mechanics and several game modes as well.Duelyst focuses more on online gameplay and as such, this game can be a tad bit competitive, but if you're not the "climb-the-ranks" sort, you can still enjoy the game as it is.

The reduced number of cards allowed per deck surprisingly increases the challenge of building a great deck while using the correct hero that fits your deck is just as equally vital to ensure victory.
