Earthbound is a rather unique RPG featuring a group of four kids with amazing superpowers, namely Ness, Paula, Jeff and Poo, and a nefarious alien race that is hellbent on causing unspeakable destruction on Earth. Help them battle the swarm of monsters, aliens and even dinosaurs that are unleashed upon the by the powerful Giygas. Travel through various landscapes in hopes of finding and confronting the ultimate manifestation of evil to save the world from certain apocalyptic event. Learn more about each of these kids as they own personal stories, as well as funny quirks, gradually unfold as you progress in the game.In addition to its story-driven gameplay, Earthbound is an adventure-themed RPG that manages to evoke a feeling that is a mixture of dread, mainly due to the gravity of the situation these kids are in; and hilarity - these kids can be quite amusing. Mass Effect is a science-fiction-themed where you play as the charismatic leader of an elite squad of three, Commander Shepard, as you set off on an epic adventure across the galaxy to save your civilization and to put an end to the traitorous Saren and his army, or if you're playing the free DLC, the Batarians. Ranging from the character customization to its incredibly-intriguing, open-ended storyline, Mass Effect offers a depth that hasn't been seen before at the time of its release in 2008. You can actually build or destroy relationships with your team members in the game by choosing a dialogue option during conversations as well. Being a space-themed game, you'll even get to explore the vast galaxy and search for crucial minerals on potentially mineral-rich planets.The gameplay in Mass Effect may not be as great as other games of its generation but it's good enough to help carry the game's amazing narrative forward.
