Michael Becket whose routine mission turned into a fight for survival as he and his squad fight tooth and nail against the wrath of Alma Wade. In this game, you'll need to battle through a terrifying post-apocalyptic-like landscape in hopes of finding clues that you can use against Alma. Aside from its amazing bullet time mechanics, the tactical gameplay is as intense and explosive as ever, forcing you to truly make use of your surroundings and decide the best approach to tackling certain obstacles. The AI in this game has been enhanced as well, giving you the extra challenge you crave.Not to mention, if you're interested, you might also want to grab F.E.A.R. 2's major DLC, F.E.A.R. 2: Reborn as well just so you can have a complete story and fully enjoy this sequel.
Mad Father
Mad Father is a rather terrifying horror-adventure game where you play as the young girl Aya who has lost her mother and is currently living with her dad. However, during the night of her mother's death anniversary, she was startled awake by her dad's screams and found that, somehow, the home she now lives in is filled with the undead and other unimaginable horrors. With her father's assistant, Maria, by her side, will they be able to escape these unholy creatures and perhaps save her father?The game has garnered plenty of critical acclaim mainly because of the incredible yet uncomfortable (the story was written by a Japanese) plot twists and partly because the game itself contains plenty of really terrifying jumpscares that will make you jump at least an inch off your seat.The voice acting and sound effects are amazing too as they managed to make the already scary game even more immersively creepy with echoes of perverted laughter and screams. The game also has some puzzles for you to solve but they are pretty easy and seemed secondary to the game.
Many players have compared Mad Father with another equally scary game, Helena. So, if you enjoy giving yourself a scare, you might want to check this game out.
