The Sims Mobile is possibly the closest you can get to getting a free-to-play version of The Sims and although you are limited in certain aspects as compared to The Sims Freeplay, you can do so much more in this version. The Sims Mobile has a lot more "life simulation" in it, allowing you to craft your own family legacy and pass any family heirloom (or any other distinctive characteristics) on from generation to generation.
