Far Cry 2 sets you in the role of a mercenary who somehow found himself trapped between a 2-sided conflict while being stricken with malaria. You'll need to do whatever it takes to survive and complete your primary mission. Similar to the original, the game provides players with a beautiful open world to roam and explore as well as over 70 different side-missions to complete. This time around though, players can have even more fun with fire as the game mechanics will allow you to burn forests to cut off your enemies' escape. The environment in this game is destructible as well.Far Cry 2 also has a unique AI system that will build on the kills you've made and the reputation you've amassed among your enemies, resulting in unpredictable enemy reactions - they might simply drop their guns and run at the mere sight of you or they will immediately call for reinforcements. This freshens up the game significantly, giving you a different experience with every encounter. For players who want to play this game with friends, you can do so too, but be warned! Your friends can betray you as fast as they can decide to side with you, so you must always keep an eye on them, lest you get jumped.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands is the first open world Ghost Recon game and it does not disappoint! Featuring a gorgeous and expansive map of Bolivia that's actually based on the actual terrain, the game offers players a chance to not only avenge undercover DEA agent, Rick Sandoval's untimely death, but also to liberate the subjugated people there from the Santa Blanca, a massive cartel that has wrestled the control of a country through all means necessary where it has a completely free rein in.Similar to most Ghost Recon games, you'll need to tactically approach a target objective or mission be it to obtain critical and damaging information on an underboss or to help the rebels, who are your allies, to spread their call-to-arms. You'll also have a ton of tools at your disposal, ranging from drones to flashbangs to rebel support. There are even various modes of transport be it on land, on water or in the skies for you to use as you travel across picturesque landscapes.
The best part though is that being an open world game, you are free to decide how you'll want to go about completing most objectives - guns all blazing like Rambo or a more stealthier method like an assassin. In fact, you can also play this game cooperatively with up to 3 of your friends and coordinate with them through the game's chat system or quick chat options.
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands has managed to completely divert the traditional game design that most Ghost Recon games are based on and from the many rave reviews, apparently this major change is very well-received by both hardcore fans and critics alike.
