Here, you not only can enjoy managing your team of game developers; you'll even have the freedom to create a game that you like by simply mixing and matching genres, engines and platforms, and by determining development priorities. There are many different successful genre combinations for you to discover along the way as well and from time to time, you'll be surprised with events that change the public perception of your game. Even a previous successful franchise can fall flat if you don't take into account feedback from your players.Aside from letting its players strive for the "indie to triple A" experience, Game Dev Tycoon does give players a very nice insight into the ins-and-outs of a typical games company as well as into the history of games (game platforms in particular) in an entertaining way.
