Garena Contra: Return vs Jenga
Garena Contra: Return
Garena Contra: Return takes us back to the golden age of alien-themed side-scrolling shooters, where arcade games like Metal Slug and Double Dragon, along with the Contra series, reigned supreme. Featuring the nostalgic pixel graphics, arcade-style shooting, cool effects and animations, your favorite heroes (Bill and Lance) as well as epic boss fights, this game made full use of modern technologies to turn a classic series into an arcade game that may just appeal to the younger generation. The game also offers a duo mode, allowing you to team up with your friends; and various other PvE game modes like the Boss Challenge, One Life Mode and more. There are even PvP events (1v1, 3v3 or a tournament-style championship) for you to prove your skills, tons of weapons to use, and a play style that can be fully customized.
Promising intense action throughout the game, Garena Contra: Return puts you once again into the role of humanity's savior as you battle against waves of aliens. Will you be able to save your people? Play the game now and find out! Garena Contra: Return is currently in pre-registration phase and is only available on Google Play.
Jenga
Jenga is the only Jenga-type game on the mobile market and it's not surprising to see why. From creating racing games with realistic motion physics to creating Jenga with accurate, close-to-life gravitational physics and stability, NaturalMotion is possibly the only mobile-specific company that is able to create a realistic digital version of the timeless crowd-favorite game, complete with beautifully rendered environment. The game also has a multiplayer mode that'll see you competing with friends to see who'll topple the tower of blocks first. Scores you earn from playing are also listed on the leaderboard - that is if the scores are high enough - giving you some amount of bragging rights if you happen to rank near or at the top. Not to mention, you can even compare the heights of your Jenga blocks with your friends' while you're still playing a game!
There are, however, some issues with the game, but overall, Jenga is still the only mobile version of the favorite pastime of many and if you suddenly had a craving for such a game, you'll have nohere to turn except to this one... unless you own a physical version of the game, then by all means, invite some friends over and have some fun!
