Gwent is a completely-unique MMOCCG that is based off on a mini-game in the award-winning RPG, The Witcher 3. Featuring a poker-like bluffing aspect, the game has a simple yet innovative gameplay where players will try to one-up the other by having the highest score for that round. The player who won 2 rounds out of 3 will be crowned the winner. To win, having a great deck and a good bluffing strategy is crucial. Not to mention, similar to its RPG counterpart, this MMOCCG has a seriously in-depth and brand-new lore that will embroil you in the war between various factions, forcing you to pick a side. Hex: Shards of Fate is a challenging MMO trading card game (TCG) where you play a wandering champion in the fictional world of Entrath. The game features a 1-on-1 card battle where you must deplete your opponent’s life to zero in order to win, as well as strategically in-depth deck-building and factions to side with. The gameplay draws inspiration from the popular board-based TCGs, such as Magic The Gathering which had admittedly gotten it into a bit of a tough spot with a lawsuit back in 2015. The game may have a slightly higher skill ceiling, but it's a solid MMOTCG that fans of the genre will enjoy.
