Heroes of Newerth vs Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Phantoms
Heroes of Newerth
Heroes of Newerth is a rather decent MOBA game that caters to a group of moderately hardcore to the hardcore elite players, though it doesn’t exactly have anything that truly sets it apart from other MOBAs. The skill ceiling in this game is rather high, making it not exactly a casual or newbie-friendly game. That being said, the game has an amazing pool of 120 different heroes that are all available for you to enjoy. The game also has 2 game modes, Co-op and PvP, whereby Co-op is for the newer and trainee players while PvP are where all the experienced players go to when they play HoN. The experience point system is a nice touch and is particularly helpful for players, who love to play roles that only excel at higher levels or after getting their ultimate skills. The very useful feature of adding a player’s hero build guide in the in-game shops is pretty well-done as well! However, do be warned that players can get a bit rough with their language if you mess up a game in PvP.If you are looking for intense MOBA matches with the likes of League of Legends or DotA 2, Heroes of Newerth is definitely a game that you can try! It has been incredibly popular once and it can be once again.
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Phantoms
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Phantoms , also known as Ghost Recon Online, is a highly competitive and tactical, team-based MMOTPS game where players on either sides will either be fighting to complete the objectives of the map or to deny the opponents their objectives. Besides its challenging yet fun gameplay, the game offers three very different character classes for you to experience the game from. Each of these classes have different roles and have different abilities but the great thing is you can play them all. Furthermore, instead of just going ‘leeroy-jenkins’ on your teammates and attempt to take out all the enemies on your own, you will need to exercise caution in this game and use the various manoeuvres, alternative routes and covers provided in the game to avoid being riddled with bullets. Let’s not forget about its superior graphics and sound system as well. Best of all, this excellent free-to-play game is by no means a pay-to-win game, at least during its early days, and that you cannot ‘quick-scope’ in this game.Unfortunately though, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Phantoms has fallen on hard times and have finally decided to close its doors. There isn't a lot of free-to-play games out there that has a cover system that's as well-designed as this game, but you can still find some really similar ones down below.
