Marvel Puzzle Quest vs Robomaniac
Marvel Puzzle Quest
Marvel Puzzle Quest is a match-3 RPG that features the lineup of familiar and beloved superheroes from the insanely popular Marvel universe, including fan-favorites like Iron Man and Spiderman. The game even has a storyline to back it up - in this game, you will be sent on missions along with your team of three chosen superheroes Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D. The missions usually require you to defeat all the enemies there by making matches and charging up your heroes' special abilities. Interestingly, the enemies can return fire in real time as well so time is of the essence when it comes to making matches and dealing damage. You can get new heroes or hero skills by collecting dropped comic book covers. These heroes can also be upgraded using special crystals, the ISO-100. For more abilities and heroes, you can purchase extra DLCs too.
Marvel Puzzle Quest is a game that contains the best of both worlds - an engaging and challenging gameplay that's simple to pick up along with a theme that almost everyone - and I daresay even for some DC fans - enjoy. Fans of Marvel or match-3 RPGs should definitely try this game.
Robomaniac
Robomaniac is a casual RPG that follows in the footsteps of games like Hero Zero. However, instead of casting you as the neighborhood superhero, you get to build and customize your own robot in this game. Set on the planet of Centerra, the world is almost devoid of human life due to a massive catastrophic event that had happened 30 years ago. After the radiation levels returned to normal, the robots that those colonials left behind began to reactivate and eventually, a thriving but "dog-eat-dog"-style society of robots grew from the ashes of the previous human civilization.Much like Hero Zero or any other browser-based casual RPGs, you'll need to make your character the best that it can be by not only taking on friendlies and rivals in duels and other PvP-oriented matches; you will also need to spend the Credits you've earned in improving your bot just so it can beat up tougher bots later down the road. The game also features fun mission-based quests, plenty of crazy upgrades, and of course, a humorous tone that may just tickle your funny bone from time to time.
The English version of Robomaniac has recently been released. So, if you like casual RPGs, you might want to give this game a try!
