Marvel Strike Force vs Melting World Online
Marvel Strike Force
Marvel Strike Force is is a squad-based MMO action RPG where you get to assemble your own team of Marvel superheroes to fight against the alien warlord Ultimus and his relentless Kree soldiers. Like most MMOs, you'll need to level up your heroes by deploying them in battle, upgrade them, and give them the best tools for destroying their foes. You can even purchase different outfits and "skins" for your heroes just so they'd look awesome in battle.Featuring a turn-based combat system that are commonplace in many mobile ARPGs, you'll be taking on the Kree and also other rival superhero teams (in a somewhat friendly match, of course). However, there is a combo system that's pretty unique to Marvel Strike Force, whereby you can perform combo moves by having the individual superheroes in your team to work synergistically. Of course, like most Marvel games, the graphics are astounding as well.
Despite what many may think, Marvel Strike Force is no run-of-the-mill MMO action RPG. The game not only features the entire (and pretty maassive) range of superheroes in the Marvel universe; it also has a lot of strategy in its squad-building aspect, allowing players to assemble a team that best suit their respective play styles.
Sounds like fun? Well, Marvel Strike Force is available for free on both Android and iOS so make sure you download the game now!
Melting World Online
Melting World Online is a strategy RPG set in what seems to be an alien world. Featuring a unique old school-look, this game more than makes up for its dated graphics with an in-depth and surprisingly strategic gameplay. Aside from the timed turn-based combat, which is modelled after Fallout games' VATS system and is designed to keep you on your toes, you'll also get to assemble your own team of mechs (along with their mech pilots) to bring into the battlefield. The most intriguing part of the gameplay, however, is how you can customize your mech. Instead of giving you fixed slots to put your weapons and armor in, you get a grided box for each part of your mech, namely the cockpit, left and right arms, the body and left and right legs, where you can attempt to squeeze in as many weapons and armor as you can. After all, the more weapons you have means the more attacking options you'll have, while having more armor means your mech can take a lot more punishment from the enemy before going down.
Melting World Online may not win any prizes when it comes to its nostalgic 90s visuals, but its gameplay is definitely worth a look, especially if you're a huge fan of strategy games.
