Meez vs Party Town
Meez
Meez is a 3D virtual world game that you can play for free on your browser. Like most social virtual world games, you'll get to create and eventually custolmize your own avatar before diving into the beautiful world of Meez. The land of Meez is separated into "hoods" and each "hood" has its own theme. For instance, if you go into the "Gym" hood, you can let your avatar have some fun exercising or generally, playing with the many exerise equipment there. You'll even get your own hood to decorate and invite friends to. The game also has many nice sound tracks courtesy of Soundcloud that you can listen to as you play.Chatting is quite unique in this game as well. Most of the time, you'll be typing out the stuff you want to say, but certain words will trigger certain animation, for example, typing "lol" will make your character double over in laughter. Of course, meeting and making new friends is the entire premise of the game, so feel free to express yourself but keep in mind that politeness is still a virtue in an online virtual world since you'll still be chatting with actual human beings on the other side of the screen.

Party Town
Party Town is a fun pet-based game that's really quite similar to the game, Pet Society. In this game, you get to take care of your pet by regularly feeding and bathing it. You can take it out for shopping sprees, and dress your pet up in the latest fashion. As your pet has its own virtual home as well, you can also purchase cute decorations and furniture to spruce up the place. Similarly, Party Town is a social game. This means that you're encouraged to interact with other people, play fun mini-games, and even get married.Overall, if you loved playing Pet Society before it got shut down, you'll definitely enjoy playing Party Town. The game is very similar in so many ways and it may even remind you of the good old days when PlayFish (the developer) is still around.
