Nosgoth is an exciting and fun MMO action/TPS game that pits the vampires against the humans in an all-out bloodbath. Gameplay-wise, Nosgoth offers a huge variety of play styles that you can experiment with by trying out the different classes and the perfect loadout (the abilities). There are also a range of game modes that you can try out in the game. In terms of storyline though, the game deviates quite a lot from the original lore in Legacy of Kain, and thus, it may disappoint fans of the original single player games. If you love games like WolfTeam (scaling walls and using claws to attack) or Left 4 Dead (switching sides after a round is done), Nosgoth is a great and unique free-to-play game that you'll enjoy.Unfortunately, the game has been shut down since the end of September last year, but thankfully, we've got a whole list of similar games for you to check out! Strife
Strife is a MOBA that balances both its casual and competitive aspects perfectly, despite containing quite a number of standard MOBA fare. The game is an easy game to pick up and thus, is really newbie-friendly. Not to mention, the skill ceiling in the game is lower than that of more competitive MOBAs, further increasing its approachability to players new to the MOBA genre. Furthermore, despite the smaller hero pool, the crafting and pet systems made the heroes in the game so much more customizable and diverse. The shared gold system in Strife also allows for a generally more stress-free match, particularly for the support class and carries.If you would like a break from the overly-intense and sometimes toxic matches in DotA 2 or LoL, perhaps you could consider Strife as a good casual alternative!
